The Journal is a fully student-run legal publication. Its Board of Editors is composed of students who underwent a rigorous admissions and training process. The Board has the primary responsibility of editing and producing each issue of the Journal and has the secondary responsibility of fulfilling other administrative functions to ensure the continuous operation of the Journal.
Jadel Kaye B. Gines
Editor
Jadel Kaye B. Gines graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2020 with degrees in B.S. in Accountancy and B.S. in Management Accounting. She is currently a fourth year law student at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law. She joined the Board of Editors of the Journal for its 67th Volume and was the Associate Lead Editor for the third and fourth issues of the same volume. She is currently a member of the Executive Committee and the Head of the Journal’s Layout, Finance, and Information Systems Committee of the Journal. She is also the Journal’s Lead Editor of the “Updates in Jurisprudence and the Law” Issue of the 69th Volume and the Third Issue of its 68th Volume with the theme “Contemporary Issues Involving Women and the Law.”
Lawrence R. Valenzuela

Lawrence R. Valenzuela is a graduate from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a Bachelor’s degree in Music, major in Percussion Performance. He is currently a fourth year law student at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law. He joined the Board of Editors of the Journal for its 67th Volume and was the Associate Lead Editor for the second Issue of the same Volume. He is currently the head of the Layout and Externals Committees and a member of the Executive Committee of the Journal. He is also the Journal’s Lead Editor of the fourth Issue of its 68th Volume entitled “Updates in Public International Law.”

Crisandra A. Amores graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Economics. She is currently a third year law student at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law. She joined the Board of Editors of the Journal for its 68th Volume. Currently, she serves as an Associal Lead Editor for the Second Issue of the same volume. She is also a member of the Externals, Secretariat, and Office Committees.

Samantha Mae F. Aviles graduated cum laude from Ateneo de Manila University in 2022 with a degree in A.B. Communication and a minor in English Literature. She is currently in her third year of law at Ateneo de Manila University. She joined the Board of Editors of the Journal in its 68th Volume and serves as Associate Lead Editor for the third issue of the same volume. She is currently a member of the Secretariat Committee, Information Systems Committee, and Office Committee of the Journal.
Yzabel Angelica M. Pinera

Yzabel Angelica M. Pinera graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in B.A. Philosophy. She is currently a third year law student at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law. She joined the Board of Editors of the Journal for its 68th Volume. Currently, she is the Associate Lead Editor for the first issue of the 68th volume. She is also the head of the Journal’s Bar Operations and a member of the Layout Committee and Information Systems Committee.

Anthony E. Del Rio graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2022 with a degree in B.S. in Management Accounting. He is currently a third year law student at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law. He joined the Board of Editors of the Journal for its 68th Volume and is the Lead Editor for the Fourth Issue of the 69th Volume with the theme “Issues in Banking and Finance Law” and an Associate Lead Editor for the Second Issue of the 68th Volume. He is currently a the head of the Journal’s Secretariat Committee and a member of the Externals amd Finance Committees.

Gian Lloyd B. Pocot graduated from the Ateneo de Davao University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies, majoring in American Studies. Currently, he is a third year law student at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law. He joined the Board of Editors of the Journal for its 68th Volume. He is currently the Lead Editor for the Third Issue of the 69th Volume entitled “Navigating Cross-Border Relations in the 21st Century” and an Associate Lead Editor for the Fourth Issue of the 68th Volume. He is also the head of the Journal’s Office Committee and a member of the Layout and External Committees.

The Ateneo Law Journal, for its 69th Volume, is now accepting Articles, Notes, Comments, and Essays from legal practitioners and scholars.
All papers submitted will be subject to evaluation based on the standards of theJournal.
